Hi, I’m Alexa and I am a hypnotherapist helping people learn the tools to thrive and find the joy in the ups and downs of life.

Whilst I treat all kinds of people with all sorts of challenges, I have a particular passion in nurturing positive mental health in young people.

I work with people online or at my home in Hertfordshire.

I like to make my sessions as positive, enjoyable and fulfilling as possible.  Typically this involves us focussing on the solutions you want and the life goals you have.  I use elements of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and SFBT (Solution Focused Brief Therapy) with hypnosis to help you create the positive changes you want.

Not only will you learn how to move forward from where you are now, but you will also have the tools to do so in the future if the need arises.

If you’re interesting in a chat and to see if I might be able to help you then get in touch.

Ways I can help

Contentment

The most content people are those who can find the joy in the smallest things in their life.  It’s a skill I try to help people develop in our therapy sessions and of course, something I try to bear in mind myself too.

Here are some of the things that make me happy: when people talk really fast because they are so excited, using every item I packed on holiday, clean bed sheets coinciding with clean pyjamas and I imagine I am in a hotel bed, the cleansing feeling of drinking hot water with lemon, my dog’s tail swishing like a metronome of happiness, grass stained knees, making my children laugh when they’re grumpy, tired legs at the end of a hike, when strawberries are in season, invitations.
