What is hypnotherapy?
It’s a kind of therapy that, alongside a discussion about your situation, guides you to a relaxed
state where you may feel more open to change.
I tend to favour the use of Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy for most of my clients. Lots of
therapy approaches spend 8me exploring difficult or traumatic events in the past to help you
understand the behaviour you are displaying or feelings you have. Solu8on Focussed
Hypnotherapy is different; this approach focusses on the solutions you want, and the life goals
you have. It’s a gentle approach that means sessions are often very enjoyable.
It uses elements of CBT (Cogni8ve Behavioural Therapy), NLP (Neuro-Linguis8c Programming)
and SFBT (Solu8on Focused Brief Therapy) with hypnosis to help you focus on the outcome you
want and to create posi8ve change. Not only will you learn how to move forward from where
you are now, but you will also have the tools to do so in the future if the situation arises.
